Pan 35, Section SW <br />of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. and RCW 49.60, the term 'gtalifed <br />individual with a disability" means an individual with a disability who, with or <br />without reasonable modifications to rules, policies, or practices, the removal of <br />architectural or, cammu call— rsbatrrc. or u c prove one auxiliary aids and <br />services, meets the essential eligibility requirements for the receipt of services <br />or the participation in programs or activities provided to the public by the King <br />County Superior Court. <br />7.0 RESPONSIBILITIES <br />7.1 All department directors, managers and supervisors of the King County <br />Superior Coun shall be responsible for their department's compliance with this <br />policy in its activities and services that it provides or performs. <br />7.2 The Court Administrator will be responsible for the following activities: <br />7.2.1 <br />7.2.2 <br />7.2.3 <br />7.2.4 <br />M0,11 Dine M11% <br />Review compliance of the policy. <br />Investigate complaints filed by any person alleging a violation of <br />this policy. <br />Issue guidelines and procedures for ensuring that the Court's <br />communications with persons with disabilities ate as effective as <br />comrnuniutions with others. <br />Issue guidelines and procedures for responding to requests for <br />auxiliary aids and services. <br />
