EXHIBIT A—SCOPE OF WORK <br /> PROJECT OVERVIEW <br /> The City of Everett has requested that CG Engineering provide professional engineering services for the design of <br /> structural repairs of the concrete cover structure and ventilation improvements at Reservoir#3,which is located at <br /> 6003 Evergreen Way in Everett, Washington. <br /> CG Engineering recently completed an assessment of the existing roof cover structure, which resulted in a report that <br /> outlined several recommended repairs.This project will involve the design and construction of those repairs. <br /> The CG Engineering assessment report also identified insufficient ventilation as a potentially-significant factor in the <br /> deterioration of the cover. The project will involve an assessment of the existing ventilation and the design of <br /> ventilation improvements,which would be performed by Murraysmith, Inc. as a subconsultant to CG Engineering. <br /> Fee Estimate: <br /> Reservoir#3 Cover Repair and Ventilation Improvements Design: Estimated Fee: $122,165.00 <br /> Contingency(City Project Manager's Authorization Required): Estimated Fee: $24,433.00 <br /> Total Estimated Fee Not to Exceed: $146,598.00 <br /> TASK 1—PROJECT MANAGEMENT(estimated at$15,992) <br /> CG ENGINEERING: <br /> CG Engineering will manage all aspects of the structural scope. Project management services include. <br /> 1.1 Correspondence and coordination with City project manager <br /> 1.2 Management and coordination of subconsultants <br /> 1.3 CG Engineering internal staff management <br /> 1.4 Meetings: (1) Kickoff and (2) Design Review meetings <br /> Assumptions: <br /> - City will take the lead of overall project management, including additional consultants(if necessary) <br /> Deliverables: <br /> - Email progress updates and coordination with City staff. <br /> - Meeting agendas and minutes for(3) meetings <br /> MURRAYSMITH: <br /> 1.1 Coordination with CG Engineering and City of Everett <br /> 1.2 Invoices and Status Reports (monthly) <br /> 1.3 Meetings: (1) Kickoff and (2) Design Review meetings <br /> 1.4 Quality Assurance/Quality Control <br /> Assumptions: <br /> - Project duration is 12 months,which impacts effort for invoicing and status reports. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> - Monthly invoice and status reports <br /> - Correspondence <br /> - Input for meeting agendas and minutes for(3) meetings <br /> Exhibit A—Scope of Work Page 1 of 5 <br />
