Mr. Fagerstrom responded that the <br /> costs are applied to the property tax roll by gssessor's office as a tax lien. The expectation is that <br /> payment is made when the property owi7r pays\s their property taxes; however,some property owners <br /> will pay the City directly to avoid the li being placed\ on their property. <br /> 7:15:04 PM <br /> Commissioner Olivers asked if, re had been any code en orcement activity related to illegal signage. <br /> Mr. Fagerstrom responded that there had been a lot of actiJi'y but not a lot of enforcement. i he <br /> Planning Department does have their own staff to follow-up on, ign violations. A couple sign <br /> enforcement cases have one to the Violations Hearing Examiner nd the most recent case was <br /> resolved. Mr. Fagerstrpm responded that he goes out with the Planng staff quarterly to document <br /> sign violations. Pianyr Ing staff will then distribute warning letters to th violators. Those that don't <br /> comply receive a v olations letter from the Code Enforcement division. st signage complaints are <br /> resolved after rezeiving the violation letters. <br /> / <br /> 7:17:33 PM, <br /> Commissioner Jordison asked if the Hearing Examiner heard both code violations andjand use matters. <br /> Mr. Fage'rstrom responded yes. <br /> 7:18:04 PM <br /> Chair Adams thanked Mr. Fagerstrom for his presentation. <br /> 7:18:20 PM <br /> item 2: Workshop—Zoning Code Amendment—Off Street Parking Standard for Senior Citizen Housing <br /> Allan Giffen, Planning staff, stated that the City had received a couple inquiries regarding an amendment <br /> to the off-street parking standard for senior citizen housing. Planning Commission initiated the code <br /> amendment at the March meeting.
