The new traffic mitigation fee Is$27,162.
This revision addresses the custom trip generation developed by GTC (accepted as reported in the GTC traffic
report submitted In support of this project)and the existing site use credit(revised to use the City of Everett
standard of 40% passby traffic for specialty retail rather than the 25%passby rate applied in the GTC analysis).
If you have any further questions regarding this determination, feel free to contact me.
Michael Brick, P.E.
Associate Engineer
City of Everett-Traffic Engineering
425.257-7790
From: Edward Koltonowskl [mailto:edwardk_gtc@earthlink.net]
Sent: Wednesday, February 14, 2007 8:57 AM
To: Michael Brick; 'Camie Anderson'
Cc: Dongho Chang
Subject: FW: Everett School District Transportation Facility
Just wondering if you have you had a chance to review my comments on the school district mitigation yet?
Michael
Could you please review my response below. I would appreciate your comments
From: Edward Koltonowski [mailto:edwardk_gtc@earthlink.net]
Sent: Thursday, February 08, 2007 10:24 AM
To: 'Camie Anderson'
Cc: 'Matt Palmer; 'Laura Brent
Subject: RE: Everett School District Transportation Facility
Camie
Their argument about non credit for the passby is reasonable and would adjust our mitigation fee by 3 trips
( $3,018). However the variable used for the original trip generation rate was buses not bus spaces, therefore the
trip generation for the new location should use the same variable i.e. buses not bus spaces. The existing located
had several open spaces as will the new facility because operationally that is how they work operationally 110
buses is all they can operate at the new site effectively just like at the existing site although there is 78 spaces
2/15/2007
