Assumptions <br /> (a) The existing concrete ramp and boat ramp piling will remain. The <br /> existing piling will be used to anchor the replacement float system. <br /> If upon observation the existing piling are recommended for <br /> replacement,the pile replacement design can be provided as <br /> additional services as requested by the City. <br /> (b) The pavement repair will not require any new storm drainage <br /> improvements. Design of storm drainage elements is excluded from <br /> this scope of services. The scope also excludes any NPDES,SWPP, <br /> and DOE NOI services. <br /> (c) The City will perform all work including preparation of bid <br /> documents for replacement of the existing light fixtures with new <br /> LED light fixtures. <br /> (d) The City will pay all permit fees. <br /> (e) A building permit or other construction level permits will not be <br /> required due to the maintenance nature of the project. If building <br /> permit level services are required,these can be done as additional <br /> services as requested by the City. <br /> (1) It is assumed that the City shall prepare the front end construction <br /> contract documents including all contract documents and Division 1 <br /> of the technical specifications for the project manual. Reid <br /> Middleton will provide the bid schedule for the project to <br /> incorporate into the front end of the project manual. The City shall <br /> provide all front end documentation including Division 0 and <br /> Division 1 specifications. <br /> (g) The City shall be responsible for administrating the bid process for <br /> the project including advertising the project, distributing bid <br /> documents,bid opening, and other bid administration services. <br /> (h) The City shall lead the overall construction administration services <br /> and Reid Middleton will provide assistance. <br /> (i) A preapplication meeting and site meetings with the regulators will <br /> not be required for the project and no modification of permit <br /> drawings and submitted information will be required.
