EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Assistance with <br /> Restoration of the Trickling Filter <br /> at the <br /> City of Everett Water Pollution Control Facility <br /> The following scope of work is proposed by the John R. Harrison (CONSULTANT) in support of The City of <br /> Everett(CITY). The CITY will be primarily responsible for designing and specifying items necessary to <br /> restore one of the existing trickling filters (TFs) at the CITY's Water Pollution Control Facility(WPCPF)to <br /> almost new and useful service. In assisting the CITY,the CONSULTANT will perform the following Tasks. <br /> 1) Project Management Activities. <br /> CONSULTANT will actively participate in relevant project meetings either by conference call or other <br /> audio/visual means. CONSULTANT will provide services to CITY as part of a Project Team which may <br /> include other Consultants and/or CITY Environmental or Engineering professionals. <br /> Deliverables: Advice and Project notes or correspondence. <br /> 2) Review Existing Facility Drawings and Specification <br /> CONSULTANT will review relevant engineering drawings/documents and operational manuals <br /> associated with the trickling filters. CONSULTANT will assess the suitability of the previously or <br /> currently used documents by the CITY for probable future use in rehabilitation of the trickling filter <br /> system. <br /> Deliverables: Description of findings and recommendations. <br /> 3) Gathering of Sample Specifications and Drawings <br /> CONSULTANT will contact a minimum of three facilities that have had media replacements and/or <br /> trickling filter restoration. Information will be gathered on sample specifications and/or engineering <br /> drawings. <br /> Deliverables: Sample drawings and specifications relevant to TF restoration. <br /> 4) Vendor Coordination and Communication. <br /> Equipment vendors supplying filter media or other relevant parts to the TF will be contacted by the <br /> CONSULTANT. Information relevant to TF restoration will be obtained and made available to the <br /> CITY TF restoration team. <br /> Deliverables: Vendor and manufacturer guidance, estimates and/or drawings. <br /> 1 I 11 October 2019 <br />
