EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> 5) Advise on Specification and Procurement of Filter Media <br /> CONSULTANT will review and comment on CITY developed specification for the procurement of the <br /> plastic filter media. CONSULTANT will review and comment on the 30%and 90%design submittals <br /> to be prepared by The CITY of Everett or the TF Restoration Team. <br /> Deliverables: Advice and review/comments on Filter media specification developed by The CITY of <br /> Everett. <br /> 6) Support Preparation of Final Plans and Specification by Others. <br /> CONSULTANT will review and comment on CITY developed specification or engineering drawings for <br /> the restoration of the TF. <br /> Deliverables: Provide advice, review and comments on TF related equipment, reactors or repairs <br /> developed or planned by the CITY. <br /> 7) Aid the City During Project Bidding. <br /> CONSULTANT will assist the CITY by responding to questions during bidding and reviewing <br /> manufacturer submittals associated with the plastic filter media including requests for information <br /> or equipment substitutions. <br /> Deliverables: Review and comments on submittals associated with plastic filter media. <br /> 8) Advice and Assistance During Construction. <br /> CONSULTANT will assist the CITY in addressing questions during construction. Requested changes to <br /> the CITY's media specification or changes to TF related equipment will be considered and <br /> recommendations will be given by the CONSULTANT. <br /> Deliverables: Evaluation of requested changes and written recommendations to the CITY. <br /> 9) Observational Advice or Training During the Project. <br /> CONSULTANT will assist the CITY in evaluating operation changes that may be required through the <br /> duration of the Project. If desired the CONSULTANT will provide training or advise operational <br /> changes that may be necessary to have a successful Project. <br /> Deliverables: If requested by the CITY, advice and/or training on changes in plant operation. <br /> Note:The project scope is focused only on equipment and facility repairs on the trickling filter,filter media,filter media support <br /> system and trickling filter associated parts. Excluded from the scope of services are process and operational assistance <br /> (including startup or operational guidance. <br /> 2 I 11 October 2019 <br />
