Task Two Deliverables <br /> 1) Host and promote one Green Everett Day event(anticipating attendance of approximately <br /> 125 volunteers).This includes volunteer recruitment and outreach,coordinating <br /> sponsorships, organizing forest stewards,and overall event management. City will create <br /> a poster,collaborate with Forterra and forest stewards on a planting plan,provide plants <br /> and other materials,provide crew support to help prep the the site,and will support <br /> during the event. <br /> 2) Develop update monthly fliers and outreach materials. <br /> 3) Promote The Green Everett Partnership at 4 outreach events (e.g. local college/high <br /> school career fairs, Sorticulture and farmer's market,etc.). <br /> 4) Present to at least two community groups or local schools to recruit Forest Stewards and <br /> volunteers,with a focus on community groups and schools near priority parks. <br /> 5) Sustain existing relationships by coordinating joint work party/training event(events as <br /> part of Task 1.6) and develop at least 2 new relationships with partner organizations, <br /> local businesses, or schools that results in active participation or promotion of the Green <br /> Everett Partnership(e.g. YMCA, Campfire,WSU Everett Campus,schools,and other <br /> non-governmental organizations.) <br /> 6) Provide quarterly updates to Everett Parks Green Everett Partnership webpage content <br /> and coordinate event information to be posted on City of Everett Green Everett <br /> Partnership webpage. <br /> 7) Maintain the Green Everett Partnership Facebook page. <br /> 8) Advertise events quarterly by posting volunteer opportunities on Forterra's website, and <br /> with local outlets(e.g. United Way,Volunteer Match,Boeing, Everett newspapers). <br /> 9) Serve as the main contact(via e-mail and phone)for Green Everett Partnership public <br /> inquiries.Update and manage volunteer and supporters e-mail list. <br /> 10)Send upcoming events and happenings monthly to e-mail distribution list. <br /> 11)Provide content to Everett Parks for publications,presentations,local newspapers,radio <br /> and neighborhood blogs or newsletters as needed. <br />
