Provide permit submittal support, responding to building department comments on <br /> architectural work. <br /> B. Structural Engineering: <br /> 1. Continue with the 30% design of a new building as an essential facility with steel <br /> columns and joists and metal deck roof framing. The mechanical equipment will be <br /> supported by a concrete slab and concrete house-keeping pads. <br /> 2. Coordination with geotechnical consultant data/report(s). <br /> 3. The building is expected to have steel piles supporting the structure and the slab <br /> with concrete grade beams to transfer load from the structure and slab to the piles. <br /> Use of flexible connections for piping and utilities may be required to mitigate <br /> potential damage from seismically-induced settlement of the adjacent grade relative <br /> to the building. <br /> 4. The structural design for the fuel island canopy and foundations will be provided. It <br /> is anticipated that the canopy will be constructed with building steel columns, roof <br /> framing and a metal deck supported by a concrete mat foundation. <br /> 5. Construction cost estimating assistance. <br /> C. Civil Engineering: <br /> 1. Design of site demolition and temporary erosion control. <br /> 2. Coordination with geotechnical consultant data/report(s). <br /> 3. Perform hydraulics calculations to size conveyance pipe and detention facility. <br /> Provide storm water drainage plan that will include the conveyance system, a <br /> stormwater detention facility, and any applicable low impact(LID)features as <br /> required. Perform hydraulics calculations to size conveyance pipe, detention facility, <br /> and LID features. <br /> 4. Site grading plan will be provided with sections, details, and notes. A geometric site <br /> plan fixing the layout of the site improvements relative to other existing site features <br /> or the site boundaries. <br /> 5. Provide water plan to include fire suppression system and domestic water service <br /> for general purpose hose bibs. <br /> 6. Site paving plan and details. <br /> 7. Construction cost estimating assistance. <br /> D. Geotechnical Engineering: <br /> 1. It is anticipated that existing geotechnical reports developed for this facility will be <br /> available for use in this work. <br />
