SES is a financially, legally, and organizationally separate from SGI. Our <br /> commissioning providers are members of the Building Commissioning Association <br /> (BCA)and as such we have agreed to abide by the BCA's essential attributes of <br /> Building Commissioning. SES's approach to commissioning is to identify problems <br /> and issues, regardless of their source, and present them to the Owner and project <br /> team for review. These issues are then forwarded to the appropriate design team <br /> professional, contractor or subcontractors for review and resolution. SES will report <br /> directly to the Owner, Client or representative for all commissioning communications <br /> and documentation. <br /> D. Upgrades and replacement of existing low voltage equipment downstream of the site <br /> transformers is not included, except where necessary to implement a coordinated <br /> protection system from the utility service point and generators to the first protective <br /> device below the site transformers. <br /> E. All work associated with hazardous waste or contaminated soils are excluded. <br /> F. Services related to sensitive areas are not included. Sensitive areas are as defined in <br /> the Growth Management Act. <br /> G. Services related to Endangered Species Act(ESA)are not included. <br /> H. Landscaping and irrigation designs are not included. <br /> I. Sanitary sewer to the building is not included. <br /> J. Natural gas service to the building is not included. <br /> K. SEPA checklist is not included. <br /> L. Changes will not be made to design after 90%construction documents have been <br /> submitted and review comments made during meetings or through written transmittals, <br /> provided they are not due to our miscalculation, lack of coordination, or construction <br /> budget problems. <br /> M. Evaluation of alternate design proposals by Contractor after Construction Documents <br /> Phase will be considered as Additional Services. <br /> N. Full-time project representation during Construction Phase is not required. Refer to the <br /> extent of representation identified above. <br /> O. Owner-initiated change orders requiring additional design work during the Construction <br /> Phase will be considered as Additional Services. <br /> P. Energy or Life Cycle Cost Analysis. <br /> Q. Design of bid alternatives requiring multiple designs. <br /> R. Participation in value engineering studies. <br />
