This report presents the results <br /> of ouz� field exploration, laboratory tests, and engineering a.na- <br /> lyses. The purpose and scope of our study was outlined in uur <br /> proposal dated hovember 24 , 1987 . <br /> �:xecutive Summarv <br /> The site is to be excavated ten (l0) to twelve (12) feet, to the <br /> eievation of Colby Avenue near the southeast corner of the property. <br /> our study indicates that the soils at planned grades consist of <br /> medium dense to dense sand and very dense till-type soils. The <br /> structure may be supported on competent native soi]s foun3 at <br /> foundation grades. Floor slabs and paved areas should be placed on <br /> at least one foot of recompacted native soils or imported structural <br /> fill. The native soils can be used as structural fill during dry <br /> weather. <br /> This report has been prepared for specific application to this <br /> project in accordance witi� generally accepted geotechnical engineer- <br /> ing practices for the exclusive use of McDonald's Corporation and <br /> their representatives. No other warranty, expressed or implied, ;s <br /> made. We recommend that this report, in its entirety, be included <br /> in the project contract documents for the information of the <br /> contractor.
