The Contractor <br /> shall wire and connect the heat trace to these circuits. <br /> • Heat trace shall be: <br /> 1. Compatible with the 12" ductile iron and 12" welded steel pipe, the grooved <br /> and flexible coupling systems, and the insulation. <br /> 2. Capable of providing automatic freeze protection for the pipe assuming an <br /> ambient temperature of 0 deg F and a sewer flow velocity range of 0-10 FPS. <br /> 3.
