All such tests shall be witnessed <br /> by a Fire Department inspector. Call (425) 257-8124 to make an appointment for inspection. <br /> Contractors' materiale and test certificates shall be submitted to the Everett Fire Department <br /> prior to issuance of any Certificates of Occupancy. <br /> Call (425) 257-8123 for more in(ormation. <br /> 10. Three Units or Larqer- Size of fire sprinkler service and meter shall be calculated by a civil <br /> engineer or fire sprinkler designer who is solely responsible for this calculation. The City <br /> Public Works Depariment does not review these calculations and is not the authority having <br /> jurisdiction. All buildings 3 units or larger that are required to have a fire sprinkler must have <br /> a separate fire service. Fire services larger than 2" must conform to City of Everett Public <br /> Works Standard 515 and 523. The fire service side of the system must have a <br /> state-approved backflow prevention device. <br /> 11. All fire alarm control panels (FACP) and sprinkler valves shall be in heated rooms or closets <br /> with standard man door access. Locationa shsll be approved by the Fire Marshal's OHice. <br /> 12. Construction and demolition of buildings shall be in comp'iance with the provisions of the <br /> 2003 International Fire Code, Chapter 14. <br /> 13. Permits are required from the Fire DepaAment for removal and InstallaHon of underground <br /> fuel tanks. <br /> 14. Abandoned tanks shall be pumped out and the fuel properly disposed of prior to removal. PJo <br /> product or rinse water may be disposed ot in such a way that it could enter the storm drains <br /> system. <br /> 15. Trash Collection - Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity shall be located a rninimum of <br /> 5 feet from the building [IFC 304.3.3, 2003 Edition]. <br /> GENERAL INFORMATION <br /> 1. Puget Sound Energy is the natural gas provider in this area. To initiate new service orders, <br /> please contact Marilyn Davis Westlund at (425)356-7512 at least 90 days prior to the <br /> required in-service date. <br /> Any relocation of existing gas facilities for this development will be at the developer's sole <br /> expense, and requires 9Q days minimum notice. Please contact Elaine Babby at <br /> (206)224-2078 to coordinate relocation requesls. <br /> 2. The Snohomish Cuunty PUD currently has suHicient capacity to serve the proposed <br /> developmrnt. For further information about the electrical service requirements for this <br /> project, please call Kurt Martin of the DistricYs Customer Engineering Office, Everett at <br /> 258-8291. <br /> 8 <br />
