If possible a <br /> physical rehearsal shall be done as well. <br /> • When appropriate the SWAT Team Leader shall deploy the SWAT <br /> team members to relieve other officers in the inner perimeter with <br /> instruction to maintain fire discipline and to contain and control the <br /> inner perimeter. <br /> • TCP personnel shall ensure that fire and medical personnel are on <br /> scene. <br /> • When the negotiators are in place and ready they are to begin <br /> negotiations as soon as possible at the direction of the SWAT <br /> Commander. <br /> • The TCP shall ensure that an outer-perimeter is secured and insure <br /> the command post maintains that perimeter as well as traffic and <br /> crowd control. <br /> • . In the event the suspect(s)decide to surrender,that information <br /> shall immediately be given to the TCP by the negotiators. <br /> • Establish an arrest team to take custody of the suspect(s) should <br /> he/she surrender. <br /> • Establish an entry team to make entry after suspect(s) surrender. <br /> • The SWAT Commander shall coordinate a relief team for <br /> deployment should the incident appear likely to be of extended <br /> nature. <br /> • Once the situation is concluded,prevent crowds from approaching <br /> the location and secure the scene for investigation and processing. <br /> • All SWAT personnel,negotiators and other personnel as required <br /> shall debrief before going home,unless circumstances dictate the <br /> debrief be conducted at a later time. <br /> D. In the event a suspect(s)leave their location and attempts to go mobile in any manner, <br /> with or without a hostage,they must not be allowed to leave the inner perimeter. If this <br /> occurs,the Team Leader shall advise SWAT command.
