Each team member shall be assigned specific equipment, outside of the officer's standard assigned gear, <br /> as needed in general SWAT functions. These basic pieces of safety equipment are as follows: <br /> 1. Ballistic tactical entry vest with plates, level IIIA, olive, last name in black on a name tape, <br /> affixed to rear <br /> 2. Kevlar helmet, olive,name stenciled to rear <br /> 3. Nomex gloves,black or olive <br /> 4. Nomex balaclava,black or olive <br /> 5. Ballistic goggles <br /> 6. Ballistic glasses <br /> 7. Kneepads <br /> 8. Elbow pads <br /> 9. Tactical handgun(drop)holster,black or olive,with belt <br /> 10. Gas mask with speaker/mic and carrier,black or olive <br /> 11. Silent radio equipment—lapel mic and earpiece <br /> B. The SWAT Team Leader shall maintain an inventory log which indicates the location, amount, <br /> maintenance, and inspection of these assigned items to insure they are maintained for operational <br /> readiness. <br /> C.
