The project will provide additional access ways to underground storm water <br /> vaults,underground storm water pipes, and storm water ponds. These additional access ways will allow for <br /> improved inspection and maintenance procedures, increased safety during maintenance procedures, and <br /> ultimately it will lead to improved water quality in areas downstream of these facilities. <br /> The City of Everett will be reimbursed for 75%of all costs incurred through the contract with CG <br /> Engineering that are in support of the Stormwater Facility Access Retrofit Project. <br /> Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with CG Engineering extends the completion date <br /> from December 31, 2013,to December 31,2014, at no additional cost <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 with CG Engineering Inc. for engineering services in support <br /> of the Stormwater Facility Access Retrofit Project and extend completion date to December 31, 2014 at no <br /> additional cost to the City. <br /> 69 <br />
