8 <br /> Reference policies in the City's Water and Sewer Comprehensive Plans related to <br /> promoting conservation and efficient use of water, including conservation,reclamation <br /> and reuse. <br /> Add policies to promote more efficient use of existing services and facilities prior to <br /> developing new facilities, such as waste management, energy, including demand <br /> management programs and strategies. <br /> Include provisions to promote renewable energy and alternative energy sources. <br /> Add policy to state new development is only permitted when sanitary sewers are <br /> available or feasible. <br /> Add a policy to coordinate available sewer,water and storm drainage capacity with major <br /> areas where redevelopment is anticipated. <br /> Reference policies in the City's Sewer Comprehensive Plan encouraging the use of low <br /> impact development techniques,and renewable and alternative energy sources. <br /> Add a policy to coordinate with other jurisdictions in the UGA on the data, analysis and <br /> methodologies related to LOS standards for all public facilities and services required by <br /> the GMA, and to coordinate compatible capital facility construction standards. Each <br /> jurisdiction may implement and monitor its own LOS standards in accordance with each <br /> jurisdiction's adopted comprehensive plan. <br /> Add policy for health and human service facilities to be located near transit. <br /> Modify text and policies related to common siting process for essential public facilities <br /> (common siting process is no longer required). <br /> Add new policies to address siting essential public facilities to support economic <br /> activities,provide amenities or incentives and minimize public costs associated with <br /> essential public facilities. <br /> Add policy to collaborate to identify opportunities for the co-location of essential public <br /> facilities. <br /> 6.
