ARTICLE 34—FIRE ACADEMY ASSIGNMENT <br /> 1.North Bend Training Academy <br /> Any Captain or Acting Captain assigned to the State Fire Service Training Facility at North <br /> Bend will be compensated as follows: <br /> Three hours of pay per day at the overtime rate in lieu of any and all other expenses. <br /> The City also agrees to pay the standard City mileage fee for one round trip from Everett to <br /> the North Bend facility for each week the employee is assigned to North Bend. <br /> New-hire recruits who are required to attend the State Fire Service Training Facility at <br /> North Bend shall be paid a per diem equal to 90%of the hourly rate of a First-Class <br /> Firefighter or the City can elect to pay for the recruit's meals. The payment is in lieu of <br /> any,and all expenses incurred by the recruit. <br /> 2. Snohomish County Training Academy: <br /> Any Captain or Acting Captain assigned to the Snohomish County Fire Training Academy <br /> will be compensated as follows: <br /> Two hours of pay per day at the overtime rate in lieu of any and all other expenses.This <br /> reflects the fact that there is no extended travel or overnight stays expected of the captain or <br /> acting captain assigned to the SCFTA. <br /> 44 <br />
