GC/CM Contract 7 <br /> General Contractor/Construction Manager Services for <br /> Evi rT Water Pollution Control Facility Expansion <br /> Phase Cl (Liquid Stream) <br /> determined in accordance with RCW 39.04.350(1), any additional or <br /> supplemental criteria set forth in the bid packages as set forth in RCW <br /> 39.10.380 and/or the pre-bid eligibility process outlined in RCW <br /> 39.10.400 if the Owner and GC/CM utilize that process. <br /> 7.4.2. Prior to Subcontract Bidding: Before soliciting bids in accordance with <br /> the Subcontract Plan, the GC/CM shall submit for review and approval <br /> by the Owner: a.) bidding instructions and supplemental responsibility <br /> criteria if any; b.) scopes of work for bid packages; c.) standard <br /> Subcontractor agreements; and d.) any modifications to the <br /> Subcontract Plan implemented under Section 7.1. <br /> 7.4.3. Bid Package Allowances <br /> 7.4.3.1 No allowances shall be included in Subcontractor bid <br /> packages if not specifically included in the MACC or without <br /> prior approval of the Owner. Denial or approval of any <br /> allowance shall not result in a change in the MACC. If the <br /> Owner agrees an allowance is appropriate within a <br /> subcontract bid package the following procedures will be <br /> implemented: <br /> (1) GC/CM will p,,rovide a schedule of allowances in the <br /> subcontract bid package. <br /> (2) Allowances will be tracked by GC/CM on a Time & <br /> Materials (T&M) basis and shown on the Schedule of <br /> Values as a discrete line item for each appropriate <br /> Subcontractor. GC/CM shall provide detailed information <br /> to the Owner for the Owner's review of allowance use as <br /> part of the approval process for each Application for <br /> Payment. <br /> (3) A deductive Change Order will be issued at the end of <br /> the Project for any remaining allowances not spent, plus <br /> the corresponding Percent Fee amount. <br /> 7.4.3.2 Prior to final payment, an appropriate Change Order will be <br /> issued as recommended by Owner to reflect actual amounts <br /> due from the GC/CM on account of Work covered by <br /> allowances included in the MACC, and the MACC shall be <br /> correspondingly decreased, along with an appropriate <br /> City of Everett Page 18 of 25 December, 2013 <br /> Water Pollution Control Facility Expansion <br /> 33 <br />
