AMENDMENT NO.1 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> AND <br /> KPFF CONSULTING ENGINEERS <br /> The City and KPFF Consulting Engineers agree to amend and modify their professional services <br /> agreement dated June 5, 2013 (the"Agreement") as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, KPFF Consulting Engineers and the City entered into an Agreement dated June 5,2013 <br /> ("Agreement") to provide preliminary engineering and design work for a parking garage at the Everett <br /> Station; and <br /> WHEREAS, work is not yet completed on the parking garage project for which KPFF Consulting has <br /> provided documentation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement has expired prior to completion of the project and the parties expect the <br /> work to be completed by March 1, 2014; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City of Everett and KPFF Consulting Engineers agree to amend and modify <br /> the previous Agreement as follows: <br /> 1. Paragraph 3 of the Agreement is amended to read as follows: <br /> 3. Time of Beginning and Completion of Performance. This Agreement shall commence as of <br /> the date of execution of this Agreement and shall be completed by March 1,2014. <br /> 2.
