The original ordinance provided$60,000 in funding from CIP 3.A citizen campaism initiated by Riverside Neighborhood resident Ashley Barquest provided donations in the amount of$3,208.65,and those funds were used for playground equipment replacement and to acquire a new playground amenity.During construction,$60,000 was transferred and made available to fund the completion of the project.The difference between the$60,000 funded by the ordinance and the$50,077.35 expended to complete the project,$9,922.65,will be transferred into CIP 3. RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Adopt the ordinance closing the special improvement project entitled"Garfield Park Playground",Fund 354, Program 042 as established by Ordinance No. 3331-13. 11
