The Ordinance established an <br /> interim regulation under RCW 36.70A.390,specifying certain permitted uses and development standards on <br /> property referred to as the Silver Lake Center property. It also established a public planning process for the <br /> subject property. <br /> The City,the community and property owner have been working on the land use plan in response to the <br /> planning process established in Ordinance No. 3314-13. The Planning Commission approved the land use. <br /> plan and a shoreline permit for the property on January 21,2014. The recommendations of the Planning. <br /> Commission will be presented to the City Council in two separate actions. The first action is the subject of <br /> this ordinance,which is the approval of a land use plan for the subject property. The second item for the <br /> shoreline permit will be heard in a separate public hearing immediately after City Council action on this <br /> ordinance. The attached ordinance approves a land use plan for the property,which will be implemented <br /> through the shoreline permit approval.
