FINDINGS AND DECISION <br /> OF THE HEARING EXAMINER OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF <br /> VERNON E. DUSSEAU II ON BEHALF OF <br /> JEFFREY NARANJO AND TONYA SAWYER VARIANCE#16-001 <br /> FOR APPROVAL OF A VARIANCE <br /> SUMMARY OF DECISION: A 37-foot high structure may be built on the <br /> property at 4518 Seahurst Avenue, Everett, <br /> WA. To construct this high of a structure, the <br /> variance of nine feet is granted from the R-1 <br /> zone height standards of the Development <br /> Standards Table 6.1 of the Everett Municipal <br /> Code 19.6. This variance is granted subject to <br /> the condition listed herein. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Vernon E. Dusseau II, on behalf of Jeffrey Naranjo and Tonya Sawyer (Applicant), <br /> requested approval of a height variance from the Development Standards Table 6.1 of <br /> the Everett Municipal Code (EMC) 19.6. The Applicant's proposed dwelling at 4518 <br /> Seahurst Avenue, Everett, WA (subject property) would be 37 feet in height, or <br /> approximately nine feet in excess of the 28-foot height standard for the R-1 zoned <br /> property. <br /> A hearing on the request was held before the Hearing Examiner of the City of Everett on <br /> .
