Permits for the mitigation site <br /> require monitoring over a 10-year period to document progress toward restoration of the intertidal wetland. <br /> The Professional Services Agreement with ICF Jones& Stokes,Inc. provides for the Year 6 monitoring of <br /> the site. The project permits require monitoring and reporting of the following parameters: hydrology, soil <br /> chemistry, vegetation, water quality,benthic invertebrates, fish,and wildlife. Amendment No. 1 will extend <br /> the completion date from March 31, 2014 to March 31, 2015. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with ICF Jones & <br /> Stokes, Inc. to extend the completion date to March 31,2015 for the Smith Island/Union Slough Restoration <br /> site monitoring at no additional cost to the City. <br /> 241 <br />
