Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> (2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br /> State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the <br /> City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> 1. Provide stair section and details for all new stairs, interior and exterior, showing <br /> construction, handrail size and placement, guard, rise, run, stringer size and quantity, <br /> stringer attachment to the supporting structure. <br /> 2. Provide guard details including attachment to the structure (decks, stairs and floors). <br /> Specify height of guard and all components. <br /> 3. Below grade walls are required to be insulated to on the interior per Table R402.1.1 <br /> (including the wall between the new stairs and the existing basement concrete wall). <br /> Specify the assembly chosen to meet the energy Code requirements, show section view <br /> of below grade walls and insulation. <br /> 4. Egress windows shall have a sill height of not more than 44 inches (1118 mm) <br /> measured from the finished floor to the bottom of the clear opening.
