Section <br /> 1 on sheet 2.0 shows a flat ceiling in the bedroom and closet area. Section 2 on sheet 2.0 <br /> shows vaulted parallel chord trusses over the Kitchen/Living area. Sheet S2.3 ROOF <br /> FRAMING PLAN shows parallel chord trusses over the entire second floor living space. <br /> Please clarify. <br /> 8. Provide engineering for studs over 10 feet in height. <br /> 9. Provide section and/or details for the framing of the south wall of the dwelling. The <br /> elevation drawings call out doubling up the studs, but nowhere on the plans is the stud <br /> size called out. The existing exterior stud wall is approximately 8 feet tall with (most <br /> likely) double top plates. Show how the new studs are sistered to the existing studs. <br /> 10. The elevation drawings show a Top Plate Height of 117'-4-1/2" to a point that is <br /> approximately 4 feet below the point where the roof trusses attach to the south wall. <br /> Please clarify. <br /> 11. Please provide an out-of-plane wind analysis and resultant detailing of framing elements <br /> around the upper floor openings of the south elevation. <br /> 12.
