fp/411K,2\;.(4.,
Amendment No. 1 to GC/CM Contract
General Contractor/Construction Manager Services for
Water Pollution Control Facility Expansion
, Phase Cl (Liquid Stream)
AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO GENERAL CONTRACTORJCONSTRUCTION MANAGER (GC/CM)
CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF EVERETT
AND
IMCO GENERAL CONSTRUCTION, INC.
This Amendment No. 1 is made and entered into by and between the City of
Everett ("Owner") and IMCO General Construction, Inc. ("GC/CM"). This Amendment
shall be effective on the last date set forth on the signature page.
RECITALS
A. GC/CM was selected pursuant to Chapter 39.10 RCW to expand the
Owner's Water Pollution Control Facility. Because of scheduling requirements, a small
portion of the project related to concrete piles needed to start in early 2014, prior to the
completion of the parties' MACC negotiations on the overall project. Accordingly,
GC/CM and the City entered into a GC/CM Contract dated February 24, 2014 (the
"Contract") for the concrete pile work, with the intent of completing negotiations for the
entire project in the meantime. Those negotiations are now complete, and Owner and
GC/CM desire to amend the GC/CM Contract so that the GC/CM Contract includes the
entire project.
B. This Amendment No. 1 is the document that changes the GC/CM Contract
from a concrete pile contract to a contract for the entire project. For reference, and
subject to the specific revisions in the "Agreement" section below, the following table is
a roadmap of the changes to the GC/CM Contract contained in this Amendment No. 1:
GC/CM Contract Section How Changed under Amendment No. 1
Contract Document Revised as set forth below in Sections A-K
Attachment 1, "Summary Matrix of Cost Unchanged
Allocation"
Attachment 2, "Phase Cl Total Contract Attached to this Amendment No. 1 and
Cost Summary" replaces Attachment 2 to the Contract (See
sections E and I below)
City of Everett Page 1 of 10 March 3, 2014
Water Pollution Control Facility Expansion
4
