If a variance is approved, building permits are required and must be obtained within one year from lhe approval date after which the Board of Adjustment's decision shall cease to be effective. Prior to the expiration date, a written request for a six-month extension may be submitted to the Pianning Director. 2. A copy of this order must be submitted by the Applicant when applying for building permits. 3. Public'JVorks has stated that since a 30" water main is in the vicinity of the pole sign the applicant shall provide a minimum 10-foot separation from the pole to the main for maintenance purposes. 4. A b��ilding permit is required for the new sign. An electrical permit is required if the sign is to be illuminated. 5. All banner signs and portable signs on site shall be brought into conformance with current code requirements. These requirements shall be met prior to the installation of any new sign on site. 6. A three-foot landscape ring shall be installed around the base of the sign. The ring should project beyond the western edge of the sign to ensure no vehicies come in contact with the sign. 5
