NOW,THEREFC�RE, the Board of Adjustment of the City of Everett does <br /> hereby order that a variance be GRANTED to allow a 23-foot tall pole sign <br /> with zero setback (rom the west property line. <br /> The action of the Board of Adjustment in GRANTING a variance shall be <br /> final and conclusive, unless within twenty-one (21) days from the date of <br /> issuance and signing of this order by the Chairman of lhe Board, an <br /> aggrieved person or persons obtains a writ of certiorari from the Superior <br /> Court of Washingdon for Snohomish County for the purpose of review of the <br /> action taken. <br /> DATED this 2nd day Of AUgUst 2004. <br /> ` � ��1� �L"�`�� l�-Q, r <br /> Chairman, Board of Adjustment 7, 2 - U� <br /> Notes to �pplicant: <br /> 1. If a variance is approved, building permits are required and <br /> must be obtained within one year from lhe approval date after <br /> which the Board of Adjustment's decision shall cease to be <br /> effective. Prior to the expiration date, a written request for a <br /> six-month extension may be submitted to the Pianning <br /> Director. <br /> 2. A copy of this order must be submitted by the Applicant when <br /> applying for building permits. <br /> 3. Public'JVorks has stated that since a 30" water main is in the <br /> vicinity of the pole sign the applicant shall provide a minimum <br /> 10-foot separation from the pole to the main for maintenance <br /> purposes. <br /> 4. A b��ilding permit is required for the new sign. An electrical <br /> permit is required if the sign is to be illuminated. <br /> 5. All banner signs and portable signs on site shall be brought <br /> into conformance with current code requirements. These <br /> requirements shall be met prior to the installation of any new <br /> sign on site. <br /> 6. A three-foot landscape ring shall be installed around the base <br /> of the sign. The ring should project beyond the western edge <br /> of the sign to ensure no vehicies come in contact with the <br /> sign. <br /> 5 <br />
