Please review and respond to the comments below. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Public Works, Planning, or Fire). All references refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive. All required submittals must be of sufficient detail and information to ensure that the proposed structure will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. All revisions require the person delivering the drawings to replace the revisions into the two sets here at our offices. For significant revisions, or if the revisions are coming directly from a document printing facility, please make arrangements with them to print and deliver two replacement sets. Structural 1. It appears that on page 3 of the permit calculations, the full operating weight of the equipment is not being considered. Please confirm with the installer as to the maximum operating weight of the equipment to design the anchorage. 2. On page 4 of the permit calculations, it appears that the seismic coefficient obtained uses an R factor of 2.5, please identify the seismic force resisting system as indicated by Table 12.2-1 of ASCE 7-10. Otherwise, if the lateral system is not classified under Chapter 12, please indicate the procedure used to obtain the forces. Also, it appears that you are arbitrarily reducing the seismic coefficient by a factor of 1.4. If the factor is used to obtain allowable—level of design forces.
