3. It appears that the Load Combinations applied to for earthquake demands do not include <br /> the vertical component of earthquake forces per ASCE 7-10 13.3.1. This is critical for <br /> checking tension loading/compression loading if the anchorage/existing slab. Please clarify. <br /> 4. On page 5 of the permit calculations it appears that the existing slab does not span during <br /> the earthquake event. Please revise the connection as required such that the slab has <br /> sufficient capacity or can carry the imposed loading. <br /> 5. Per ACI 318-14 Chap 17, the anchorage design does not appear to include seismic loading <br /> considerations per Sec 17.2.3.1.
