As per our conversation I am writing to you today
for an official document and response to forward on to my insurance company regarding permits.
We verified that no recent permits have been applied for my house at 2305 Harrison. No permits have been
issued for 2305 Harrison Avenue for HVAC work. No inspections were done or signed off for at 2305 Harrison
Avenue.
I read to you a partof an e-mail I had sent to my contractor regarding proper installation of an HVAC system.
Prior to writing, I found your website and specifically looked for specifications, code requirements and whatnot
for residential HVAC systems. Six years ago I had looked into replacing the old system I had at the time, and
contacted seven different companies to bid the job. In doing so, I learned about some different styles of
furnaces, and manufacturer's guidelines. I decided to instead wait on this project due to all the necessary
requirements for proper installation of a newer type HVAC system.
There were some questions which I couldn't find answers to in reading the information on your site, specifically
for running new ducting/vents for the system, as well as exhaust venting and piping.
So I called your office.
