These are two reciprocal Road Use Penuits (RUPs). RUP No. 50-091200: The City is requesting peuinission from DNR to haul timber from an upcoming timber sale over DNR roads in the vicinity of the Lake Chaplain Tract. This takes the foiin of a temporary Road Use Peimit between the DNR as Grantor and the City of Everett as Grantee. The consideration from the City to DNR is a reciprocal grant of a road use permit for the DNR's Cooperation Timber sale (RUP 55-091210). RUP No. 55-091210: The DNR is requesting permission from the City to haul timber from an upcoming timber sale over City property in the Lake Chaplain Tract. This takes the form of a temporary Road Use Permit between the City of Everett as Grantor and DNR as Grantee. Consideration paid by DNR to the City is as follows: $10,906.00 and the reciprocal grant of a road use pettuit for the City's Uneven Cub Timber sale (RUP 50-091200). RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign two reciprocal Road Use Pettuits with the Washington State Department of Natural Resources to facilitate hauling of timber. 29
