� � t�AN�E Gt�ARD� <br />The Wet Chemical System <br />Designi�g for Duct Protection <br />ADP Noale <br />Two ADP noules {P1N 96981) shall be used in ducts with <br />a perimeter up to 75 inches or 23.8 inches maximum diameter. <br />The ratio of the longest to shortest perimeter sides shall not <br />exceed 3 to 1. One af these noules is pointed into the duct and <br />the other is pointed into the olenum. Each ADP noule (PM <br />96981) has a flow number of 1. <br />The tip of the upper nozzle, of the pair of noales required <br />for each duct, shall be positianed in the center of lhe duct <br />opening and above the plane of the hood-tuct opening be- <br />hveen 1' and 24". The duct length is unlimited. <br />When the,duct perirneter exceeds 75", divide the duct area <br />with imaginary walls so that the smaller ducts created have a <br />perimeter of 75" or less, includingthe lengths of ihe imaginary <br />DUCT NOZZLE PLA <br />D-1 i <br />walls. Place a pair oi no.zzles (P/N 96981) in the center of each <br />otthe imagirary ducts, one nozzle pointed into Ihe duM and the <br />other pointed in the opposi!e direstion. <br />Ducts 25 feet or less in length and with a perimeter o: 48' <br />or less (or 1b-1/4' diameter) may be protected with one ADP <br />noale pointed up into the du�t.
