New doors into the corridor on Level 3 should be shown as minimum 20-minute smoke <br /> and draft control assemblies. Sections 1020.1 and 716.5.3 <br /> a. The toilet rooms on Level 3 should be separated from the corridor with minimum <br /> one-hour rated fire partitions and 20-minute doors. Section 1020.1 <br /> Response: New doors are shown as 45 minute doors in order to match the ratings of the existing <br /> doors they will be replacing. Door hardware will accommodate required smoke and draft control. <br /> a. New rated doors have been provided on magnetic hold-opens at the level 3 restrooms.
