If awarded, the grant funds will provide <br />for the following: Lexipol Law Enforcement Policies Web -based Service, Automated External Defibrillators <br />and Diver Safety Lights. The grant program period is October 1, 2013, through September 30, 2017. <br />RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to approve the application FY 2014 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant <br />for submittal to the United States Department of Justice in the amount of $53,568.00, and to execute <br />accepting documents in the event of an award. <br />79 <br />
