The project will <br /> seismically retrofit the operations building and ensure its continued operation in the event of a major <br /> earthquake. The Washington State Military Department will provide grant funding for this project. <br /> •. The grant amount is $674,133 Federal and$112,355 State funds and requires a local $200,407 match. The <br /> total project cost estimate is $1,100,000 of which$986,895 qualified for grant funding. All work for the <br /> project including design,permitting and construction must be completed prior to the grant expiration date of <br /> September 25, 2017. <br /> • <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the Mayor or his Designee to sign Hazard Mitigation Grant Agreement#D15-002 with the <br /> Washington State Military Department in the amount of$986,895 with a City share of$200,407. <br /> 9 <br />
