The project will seismically retrofit the operations building and ensure its continued operation in the event of a major earthquake. The Washington State Military Department will provide grant funding for this project. •. The grant amount is $674,133 Federal and$112,355 State funds and requires a local $200,407 match. The total project cost estimate is $1,100,000 of which$986,895 qualified for grant funding. All work for the project including design,permitting and construction must be completed prior to the grant expiration date of September 25, 2017. • RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Mayor or his Designee to sign Hazard Mitigation Grant Agreement#D15-002 with the Washington State Military Department in the amount of$986,895 with a City share of$200,407. 9
