ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of <br />Everett, as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of <br />Everett, also known as Everett City Code 15.04.040 entitled: <br />"An Ordinance regulating and restricting the <br />location and use of building and land within <br />the City of Everett; limiting the height of <br />buildings; prescribing building lines and size <br />of yard and other open spaces; providing for <br />the division of the City into use zones; creating <br />a Board of Adjustments; and providing for penalties <br />for violation of the Ordinance." <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon <br />the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Everett, has determined the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use <br />should be amended; that the area hereinafter described should <br />be rezoned and such rezoning will be in harmony with the <br />Comprehensive Plan of Land Use for the City of Everett. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br />Section 1: That the City Council of the City of <br />Everett does hereby find that the changes hereinafter set <br />forth are for the best interests of the City of Everett, and <br />do hereby amend the Comprehensive plan of Land Use of the City <br />of Everett to provide for the changes as hereinafter set forth. <br />Section 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, <br />also designated as "use map' of the City of Everett, as estab: <br />lished by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572, also known as <br />Everett City Code 15.04.040 is hereby amended as follows: <br />Lots 29 through 32,Block 721, Plat of <br />Everett Division "H" (southwest corner of <br />Wall Street and Grand Avenue, <br />be rezoned from existing R-4 Multiple Family High Density <br />Residence Zone to C-1 General Commercial Zone. <br />All that portion of the S 1/2 of the IVY 1/4 of the <br />NW 1/4, Sec. 17, T 29 North, R 5 EWM. lying Ely <br />of a strip conveyed to the State of Washington <br />for widening State Highway No. 1, as conveyed <br />by deeds of record in Vol. 531 of Deeds, Page <br />1, under Auditor's File 0_086200, records of <br />Snohomish County, together with a parcel in <br />the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Sec. 17, T 29 N., <br />R5 EWflI, Snohomish County described as follows: <br />
