NO. 1 of Snohomish County USE <br /> Purpose of Checklist: The State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), chapter 43.21 C <br /> RCW, requires all governmental agencies to consider the environmental impacts of a <br /> proposal before making decisions. An environmental impact statement (EIS) must <br /> be prepared for all proposals with probable significant adverse impacts on the <br /> environment. The purpose of this checklist is to provide information to help the <br /> District's Responsible Official and any other agencies with jurisdiction to identify <br /> impacts from a proposal (and to reduce or avoid impacts from the proposal, if it can <br /> be done) and to help the District decide whether an EIS is required. <br /> A. This will be a multi-year project with most of the design <br /> work scheduled for 2009 and 2010; and with construction starting in 2010 <br /> and energization in 2013. <br /> • Transmission Line upgrading to Everett: Construction to start in 2010. <br /> • Site Development and Preliminary Design in 2009 through 2010. <br /> • Site construction 2010 through 2011. <br /> • Electrical construction including transmission line terminations starting <br /> in 2011 and complete station energization in 2013. <br /> � - s 3 / <br />
