Proposed measures to reduce or control emissions or other impacts to air, if any: <br /> • Normal controls will be provided during construction such as maintaining <br /> construction equipment to acceptable standards and watering to reduce <br /> dust, as necessary. <br /> 3. Water <br /> a. Surface: <br /> 1) Is there any surface water body on or in the immediate vicinity of the site (including <br /> year-round and seasonal streams, saltwater, lakes, ponds, wetlands)? If yes, <br /> describe type and provide names. If appropriate, state what stream or river it flows <br /> into. <br /> • Figure 2 of Supplemental Technical Memorandum, Landau Associates, <br /> November 5 2004 identified the following surface water bodies: <br /> 1. An estimated Category II Wetland lies in the northeast corner of the site <br /> (buffer width 75 feet). <br /> 2. A Category III Stream (City's Classification Type F stream) along the <br /> northerly portion of the site(buffer width 100 to 150 feet, dependent on <br /> vegetation conditions). <br /> 3. A Category IV Stream (City's Classification Type NS stream) to the west <br /> and north of the site (buffer width 50 to 75 feet, dependent on <br /> vegetation conditions). <br /> • The surface water flows towards Woods Creek located on the east side of <br /> Interstate 5 and eventually into Snohomish River and Puget Sound. <br /> 2) Will the project require any work over, in, or adjacent to (within 200 feet) the <br /> described waters? If yes, please describe and attach available plans. <br /> • No work is anticipated within 200 feet of the Category II Wetland. <br /> • Work anticipated within 200 feet of the Category Ill Stream is limited to <br /> transmission pole and line termination modifications. <br /> • Work anticipated within 200 feet of the Category IV Stream includes <br /> vegetation removal, grading, fencing, landscaping and the installation of an <br /> irrigation system. <br /> • Any work proposed within buffers will be addressed under City of Everett <br /> Code Chapter 37 and any other applicable permits and conditions. <br /> Page 11 of 23 513 2 <br />
