As part of the remodel,we will be
installing two exhaust fans at the north east corner on the C-Wing roof, south of the existing screened area that was
constructed to enclose the new cafeteria air handler several years ago. The exhaust fan units will be about 37" high
above and each will have a vertical stack that extends another 8'-0". The fans will be located approximately 24'south of
the existing screen and about 52' north of the south edge of the C-Wing roof. It is our opinion that the placement of
these fans and stacks will have minimal impact on the exterior appearance of the hospital.
Our building plan reviewer, Drew Martin, recommended that we schedule an appointment to meet with you to review
the exhaust fan's impact. There is a very condensed time line for construction of this project so we would like to
schedule time to meet with you by the middle of next week as we need to obtain a building permit as soon as possible
to meet the December 1 regulatory deadline.
Please feel free to call me,or Melinda Wind who is the project architect, if you have any questions.
Thank you for your consideration
James L.
