The closest residential properties are to the south on Wetmore Avenue. <br /> The function of these exhaust fans and stacks is to vent two biosafety hoods that will be located in the new <br /> compounding pharmacy on the second floor of the C Wing. The hoods are required to meet the new sterile <br /> compounding pharmacy regulations that will be enforced on December 1, 2019. The reason the stacks are the height <br /> they are is to get the exhaust plumes far enough above the roof to prevent entrainment and enhance dispersal. <br /> If you have questions or comments, please let us know.
