This issue should also be discussed with our Planning department to determine if rooftop screening will be <br /> required. <br /> • <br /> Response:A partial roof plan has been added to sheet A6.03.Detail 10/A8.24 has been added to show roof penetration at <br /> exhaust fan.New drawing sheets A2.00,A3.01,and A6.03 have been added to the drawing set to show the overall PRMCE <br /> campus,rendered views of the fan exhaust stacks,and a partial roof plan showing the stack locations.These drawings were <br /> reviewed with Allan Giffen of the Planning department.Mr. Giffen determined in an e-mail dated 7/23/19 that additional <br /> screening was not required,but that the stacks were to be painted to match the existing rooftop vent stacks.A note has been <br /> added to the partial roof plan to provide paint to match existing stacks. <br /> Structural: <br /> 1. Sheet A1.01 indicates that the structural floor slab will be infilled at Grids B/3.4,C.5/5.5,and E/5.6. See IBC Sections <br /> 107.2.1, 1603.1, 1604.1,and 1604.4. The following comments shall be addressed: <br /> a. Structural details for the floor infills shall be provided in the construction drawings. <br /> b. Sheet A1.01 addresses floor infills for the Level 2 floor only. It is not clear if infills will also be required for the <br /> structure above. Additional plans and details shall be provided specifying the required construction above if infills are <br /> required. <br /> c. Structural calculations for the design of the infills shall be submitted for review. The infill shall be designed for the <br /> design live and dead loads,including concentrated loading,that they must support. . <br /> d. The floor construction shall be evaluated for the additional load. Where the load paths are not sufficient to <br /> supporting the infills,supplemental framing shall be provided. <br /> e. The live loads on the infills shall be specified in the drawings. See IBC Section <br /> f. Special inspection shall be specified in the drawings as required. The required type and frequency of each special <br /> inspection shall be specified. At a minimum,inspections for cast-in-place concrete,reinforcing steel, and post- <br /> installed anchorage are anticipated;additional requirements for steel or other materials shall be specified as needed. <br /> See IBC Sections 1704.3, 1704.3.1, 1705.2,and 1705.3,and Table 1705.3. <br /> Response: Sheets S1.01 and S01.02 have been added containing the structural report and details that accompany the <br /> architectural drawings.The report and details have been signed and sealed by the structural engineer to address the floor infill <br /> locations.This report included structural calculations for the project.A section for special inspections has been added to sheet <br /> A0.02 in accordance with 2015 IBC Section 17. Sketches have been relocated to Sheet S1.01 and Structural Calculations have <br /> been submitted in a separate document per subsequent reviewer comments. <br /> a.
