The plan title on Sheet M1.01 states"Level 2"plan instead of"Level 1"plan as stated in the <br /> title block and the Drawing Index on Sheet M0.01. The plan shall be revised. See IBC Section <br /> 107.2.1. <br /> 2. The Exhaust Terminal Units schedule on Sheet M0.02 lists six units, which are specified in the <br /> Level 2 Plan on Sheet M2.11A. The following comments shall be addressed: <br /> a. The operating weights of the units shall be listed in the schedule. See IBC Sections 107.2.1 <br /> and 1603.1.8. <br /> b. The units shall be independently supported and braced. Details for the unit supports shall <br /> be provide in the construction drawings. See IBC Sections 107.2.1 and 1603.1. <br /> c. Calculations substantiating the support system shall be submitted for review. The supports <br /> shall be designed for lateral loading per the requirements of ASCE 7-10 Section 13.6. Note <br /> that the units do not appear to satisfy Section 13.1.4 Item 6(c) and therefore are not <br /> exempt from this requirement. See IBC Sections 1604.1 and 1613.1. <br /> 3. Sheet M2.13 indicates the addition of seven new refrigerator condenser units. The following <br /> comments shall be addressed: <br /> a. The equipment schedules on Sheet M0.02 do not appear to include these units. A schedule <br /> listing the units shall be provided. See IBC Section 107.2.1. <br /> b. The operating weights of the units shall be listed in the schedule. See IBC Sections 107.2.1 <br /> and 1603.1.8. <br /> c. Details for the connections of the units to the roof structure shall be provide in the <br /> construction drawings. The units shall be provided with positive anchorage designed per the <br /> requirements of ASCE 7-10 Section 13.6. See IBC Sections 107.2.1, 1603.1, and 1613.1. <br /> d. Calculations substantiating the capacity of the roof to support the units in addition to other <br /> existing loads, including snow loading, shall be submitted for review. See IEBC Section <br /> 807.4, and IBC Sections 1604.1 and 1604.4. <br /> 4. The Air Terminal Units schedule on Sheet M0.02 lists 14 units, which are specified in the Level 2 <br /> Plan on Sheet M2.11A. The following comments shall be addressed: <br /> a. The locations of the units are unclear. It is presumed that they are suspended from the <br /> underside of the structural floor above. Additional plans or details shall be provided to <br /> clarify the locations of the units. See IBC Section 107.2.1 <br /> b. The operating weights of the units shall be listed in the schedule. See IBC Sections 107.2.1 <br /> and 1603.1.8. <br /> c. The units shall be independently supported and braced. Details for the unit supports shall <br /> be provide in the construction drawings.
