INTERFAITH FAMILY SHELTER <br /> AND CASCADE VIEW PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH <br /> CAR TO HOUSING PROGRAM <br /> The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)between Interfaith Family <br /> Shelter, a Washington non-profit agency, and Cascade View Presbyterian Church is <br /> to outline the general understanding that has been reached between the parties with <br /> respect to the services provided by Interfaith Family Shelter, and the parking spaces, <br /> services, facility modifications, and upkeep of church grounds offered by Cascade <br /> View Presbyterian Church at 1030 E. Casino Rd, Everett, WA 98203. The parking <br /> spaces will be used for up to five homeless families and/or individuals living in their <br /> vehicles. CVPC's vision is: <br /> "Cascade View Presbyterian Church exists to use and develop our individual God-given gifts <br /> with the guidance of the Holy Spirit to equip our church and multicultural community with <br /> opportunities for spiritual growth. <br /> Our vision is to be holy Disciples of Christ; united in proclaiming the Word of God to the <br /> community and unchurched within our broken world. <br /> In order to carry out the Program outlined above the parties agree to the <br /> following roles and responsibilities: <br /> Interfaith Family Shelter shall: <br /> 1. Shall provide overall supervision and administration of the Car to Housing <br /> Program located at the CVPC facility; <br /> 2. Develop and provide an efficient process for referrals, screening, intakes, and <br /> on-going case management for up to five families or individual women living <br /> in their cars in C`VYC's parking lot; <br /> 3. Work with CVPC to update the Program Code of Conduct for those staying <br /> in CVPC's parking lot; <br /> 1 <br />
