Biosolids Transportation Equipment <br /> p <br /> The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and appurtenances <br /> Ii. <br /> necessary to perform and support the loading, transportation and relocation <br /> of the biosolids from the dewatering operations staging area to the <br /> I applicable location on the City's Biosolids Pad. This loading, transportation <br /> and relocation work shall be incidental to the unti price bid for Dry Ton <br /> Removed, Dewartering and Placed on the Bioslodis Pad. <br /> I 2. Trucks shall be thoroughly cleaned after dumping the material with minimal <br /> solids left in the truck from the previous load. It shall be the Contractor's <br /> responsibility to clean up any lose biosolids, on a daily basis, that are <br /> I deposited on the pad between the dewatering staging area and the storage <br /> area. <br /> IB. Truck Scale <br /> 1. The City will provide a certified truck scale in close proximity to the <br /> I dewatering staging area for the Contractor to use. The scale will be used to <br /> weigh loads as they are moved from the dewatering staging area to the <br /> storage area on the City's Biosolids Pad. The scale was last certified in <br /> I February of 2020. <br /> 2. All truckloads of biosolids transported from the dewatering staging area will <br /> be weighed and scale tickets will be provided to the Contractor upon <br /> I request. <br /> 3. Upon completion of the work, the Contractor will be responsible for returning <br /> the truck scale to its original condition at the start of the project.
