GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING STUDY <br /> PROPOSED PUBLIC STORAGE FACILITY <br /> 9606 & 9610 — 19TH AVENUE SOUTHEAST <br /> EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> ES-2432 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> General <br /> This geotechnical engineering study was prepared for the public storage facility to be completed <br /> along the west side of 19th Avenue Southeast, in Everett, Washington. The purpose of this <br /> study was to explore subsurface conditions across the site and develop geotechnical <br /> recommendations for the proposed development. Our scope of services for completing this <br /> geotechnical engineering study included the following: <br /> • Conducting subsurface explorations within accessible portions of the development <br /> envelope; <br /> • Laboratory testing of soil samples obtained from the subsurface exploration; <br /> • Conducting engineering analyses, and; <br /> • Preparation of this report. <br /> The following documents/maps were reviewed as part of our report preparation: <br /> • Site Plan Option A1.1 , prepared by Stricker Cato Murphy Architects; <br /> • Site Improvement Plan, Sheet C1.2, prepared by Decker Consulting Engineers; <br /> e Topographic Survey, prepared by Site Survey & Mapping, Inc., Sheet 1 dated April 19, <br /> 2012; <br /> O Geotechnical Evaluation Report, prepared by ADaPT Engineering, Inc. (ADaPT), Job <br /> No. WA-00-3540, dated February 18, 2000; <br /> • Geologic Map of Washington, Southwest Quadrant Map GM-34, and; <br /> • Snohomish County NRCS Soil Conservation Survey (SCS). <br />
