i <br /> April 15, 2020 <br /> President Touhy announced that the City Council is still abiding by the COVID-19 <br /> shelter-in-place and social distancing orders, and as a result, meetings will <br /> continue to be held remotely as regularly scheduled. She stated that during the <br /> meetings, public comment will not be accepted and the public may not attend. <br /> Council meetings can be viewed on The Everett Channel or on the City website. <br /> Citizens are encouraged to provide comments in writing prior to the meeting at <br /> council@everettwa.gov. <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:34 p.m., <br /> April 15, 2020, Council President Tuohy presiding. Upon roll call, it was found that <br /> Mayor Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Vogeli, Bader, <br /> Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> The minutes of the April 8, 2020, City Council meeting were approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> • <br /> Mayor Franklin spoke about a public safety update she shared earlier with Council. <br /> She also announced the upcoming launch of the Everett Coronavirus Aid, Relief, <br /> and Economic Security(Everett CARES)Grant Program to support small businesses <br /> and nonprofits impacted by COVID-19. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Bader provided a liaison report from the Snohomish Health <br /> District Board meeting. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher asked to move Consent Agenda Item No. 5 related <br /> to the purchase of the boathouse at Port of Everett Marina to the Action Agenda <br /> for the purpose of discussion. <br /> President Tuohy stated Consent Agenda Item No. 5 would be moved. <br /> r <br /> 113 <br />
