Many of the site <br /> improvements across the property, such as sidewalk and handrail replacement and added handicapped <br /> parking are specific to improving access to and from the 2701 building, where EHA conducts Property <br /> Management Business.The new project includes improvements and features designed to make the <br /> current building and its addition fully accessible per IEBC Section 705.2. <br /> Larger Property Improvements: <br /> • Asphalt Paving-$123,000:Approximately$21,000 dedicated to ADA parking areas <br /> • Striping and Extruded Curb-$39,000:Approximately$8,000 dedicated to ADA parking areas <br /> • Sidewalks-$179,000:Approximately$32,000 dedicated to ADA sloped walks and graded paths <br /> to parking.Also includes re-poured and sloped concrete entries at east and west of 2701. <br /> • Approximate total:$61,000 <br /> Specific 2701 Building Improvements: <br /> • Converted ADA Bathroom at upper level:Approximately$16,000 <br /> • New ADA Bathrooms at lower level:Approximately$36,000 <br /> • New ADA drinking fountains:Approximately$2,500 <br /> • Installing(15)3'0 doors throughout building($600/ea):Approximately$9,000 <br /> • Automatic door opener system at each entry:Approximately$4,500 <br /> • Approximate total:$68,000. <br /> EHA believes in serving low and moderate-income families.
