P - o-O
Kirk Brooks
From: James Pontak <jpontak@Integralnw.com>
Sent: Wednesday, May 06, 2015 2:09 PM
To: Kirk Brooks
Cc: Latif Lakhani; Kamil Lakhani; Michael E Ryan (michaelr@harmseninc.com)
Subject: EMW Storage Project (Status Memo)
Kirk,
Thank you for your time and assistance this morning. This email is intended to memorialize our discussions today and
outline the current status of the Anthem Self Storage project on Everett Mall Way located at 1610 Everett Mall Way in
Everett Washington.
We met to today, 5.6.2015,to review the pending status of the Anthem Everett Mall Way Self Storage project and
reviewed the project history, design concept, status of pending offsite improvements and design modifications required
by the Washington State Department of Transportation. We presented the design modifications and the associated
effects; provided a before and after comparison of the project attributes and outlined our intentions for construction of
the project.
The specific issues that we addressed are as follows:
1. Offsite: The offsite improvements required to upgrade and complete the water main Loop on the Northwest
side of Everett Mall Way were completed and signed off on last year. The component of these improvements
that cross Everett Mall Way via and existing casing have not been completed but are permitted for completion
today. The only remaining action is for Anthem Self Storage (EM)to complete this section of the water line.
2. Storm Water Design modifications: Subsequent to the review and approval received last year,WSDOT made
some additional changes to the design of the outfall routing which ties into the Limited Access line. These
changes were requested to minimize the effects of the improvement on the existing vegetation in this area. We
reviewed the prior design configuration, presented the revised configuration and confirmed the consistent
treatment and dispersion rate prescribed in the previously approved project design.
3. Upon our satisfactorily addressing your questions, concerns and observations—you signed off on the plan
design modifications as amendments to the previously approved plans and added them the approved plan set
for reference.
4. Subsequent to our meeting, you verified that we had submitted the property construction cost estimates and
other documentation required to pull the construction permits and contacted me to confirm that everything
was in order for us to pull the construction permit when we're ready.
I hope that this adequately memorializes our interaction today. I invite you to address, augment and/or clarify any
points of interaction that you see differently than outlined above. We greatly appreciate your assistance and look
forward to constructing this project in the near future.
It was a pleasure to meet you and wish you luck in your current endeavors.
Sincerely,
James Pontak
Director of Real Estate &Finance
UINTE RAL
NO$tTHW $Y
8115 Broadway I Suite 204 I Everett, WA 98203 I vCard
/627
