Let me know if you have any questions. <br /> 1. The following should be addressed for the fitness room: <br /> a. Two exits are required. The exits should be spaces at least 1/2 of the maximum room dimension apart. <br /> b. At least one designated egress route should be accessible. <br /> c. All doors in the exit path should open in the direction of egress travel. <br /> d. All exit doors in the egress path should be provided with panic hardware. This includes the west <br /> exterior gate if used as part of the egress route. <br /> e. The exits should be marked with signs and provided with emergency power. Additional exit signs <br /> should be provided to the discharge points. <br /> f. Emergency egress lighting should be provided with emergency power. Lighting should be provided <br /> to the discharge points. Exterior lighting should be provided at these points. <br /> g. Traversable paths should be provided from the discharge points to the public way or qualifying <br /> yard(s). <br /> h. The maximum occupancy should be posted by the primary exit. <br /> Response: <br /> a. Two exits exist iN fitness room. Please see sheet G400 for distances. <br /> b. The exit through the package room is accessible. See G400 for added wheelchair symbol for <br /> clarification. <br /> c. All doors in fitness room open outward, in direction of egress travel. <br /> d. All exit doors have the appropriate egress hardware, as shown on A400. This includes door 4. <br /> e. Note added to sheet G400 for exit signs to be provided with emergency power. Discharge <br /> points have exit signs, see G400 for symbols at doors. <br /> f. Exterior lighting at discharge points to remain as is, GC to confirm foot candle requirements. <br /> g. Please see revised sheet G400 for traversable paths. <br /> h. Acknowledged.
